    About

To get stitch counts and dimensions, I used the pattern called Tulip Yoke Baby Cardigan found on Ravelry, then substituted the heart design from pattern Little Hearts found on this site, added a couple rows of fair isle red near the bottom hem and the sleeve hems, then made the button plackets in garter stitch instead of ribbing because I like the way buttonholes turn out better in a garter stitch band. I continue to really like using Cascade Heritage 150 for baby sweaters. It is extremely soft and machine washable. It has recently been discontinued, so I'm glad that I stocked up.

    • Circular 2.25mm (US 1) 80cm

    Accessories

    • Stitch Markers
    • Tapestry Needle
    • Buttons
Other : Used size 1 needles for button plackets.
Used size 2 needles for ribbing.
Used size 3 for everything else.

    Measurements

    Notes: Length: 12 1/2 inches
    Chest: 23 inches
    Sleeve: 6 1/2 inches
I believe this would fit a baby about 9 to 12 months old. I used stitch counts for a much larger size, and smaller needles than the pattern called for because this yarn (although labelled sport weight) is somewhere between sport and fingering
