When my children were babies back in the seventies my mum made them the heartwarmers that she'd made for me. The pattern she used is long gone so I designed one of my own. It's a versatile unisex layering piece over babygros, tops, dresses and t shirts to keep a little one snug.
It's a very quick and simple knit so ideal for a last minute baby shower pressy. This one has buttons to fasten it but the pattern also includes cord ties too.
My customer has had several of these in varying colours for babies in her family and they have been loved by all that have received them.
