    About

    This was the first garment i knitted after joining the site in 2015.
    When i first received my wool and pattern, i was a somewhat over whelmed as i had never knitted a garment top down in one piece before.
    There was also the pattern to incorporate at the same time, i.e. at first every row was different. I painstakingly worked my way through the first part of the pattern, one row at a time. To my surprise it all worked out. Though complex, the instructions in the pattern are clear and exact. Once I got past the difficult part i was hooked on this new way of knitting garments all in one piece. With the bonus of no difficult sewing up at the end, which can make or break a garment. The body of the cardigan is gently shaped, for enhanced fit.
    Used suggested wool, wearing well, very warm.

        Thank you 😊. No isn’t steeked (had to look this up, never heard if it before) It is knitted in one piece from top down, sleeve stitches put on hold at top of arms then knitted in the round on 4 DPN’s
