    About

Inspired by another maker loved the idea of combining my two loves of quilting and crochet. This pattern was really pretty a vintage and of course it had really great video tutorials to help my pattern phobia. The only change I made was that I crocheted all the squares together rather than sewing them as the sewing was getting on my nerves. It was an enjoyable make although the blanket stitching was a little tough on the hands.

This is beautiful Sarah! I am thoroughly impressed with the neat blanket stitch around each square, that must have taken some patience. Sewing by hand can be a painful process I find; it is for myself anyways.

Yes this project has definitely given me more ideas on how to combine crafts and can see maybe one of my quilts ending up with a crochet border
