    About

The holly was meant to be the jar toppers for our home-baked ginger biscuits (Nan's hand-me-down recipe) presents. Despite it being a quick project to knit, I didn't have much time left to finish all 13 pairs while also baking the biscuits & prepping for Christmas dinner itself.

Perhaps with better preparations (not another last minute attempt), each jar would have these holly toppers next year. :D

    The Pattern :

I was looking for snowflake patterns & stumbled upon this, so decided to go with hollies instead - particularly love the leaf's design very much. I didn't seam 2 leaves back to back as directed in the pattern for they look very lovely on its own already.

Yet to try the rest of the items in the collection but I've got my mind set on the mistletoe so you'd probably see a new knitted decoration in the house next Christmas!
