    About

A friend of mine hasn’t knitted in years and she was having a sort out f her knitting things. She gave me a bag of different wools to use up and in the bottom of the bag was a partially knitted cardigan/jacket. Some of the measurements were a bit out but I managed to pick up the stitches on the neckline and knit a hood, then picked up and formed a ribbed border down the front and round the hood edge. It didn’t turn out too bad and it fits my neighbours little girl for a garden or park jacket. I don’t know what pattern she used, and i believe that most of it was chunky wool but didn’t have any that matched so i used blue Aran for the hood and edges.

Well done Beth for saving this little jacket.
You have done a good job and now your neighbour’s little girl has a cosy jacket for playing.

Thank you. It just seemed a shame to unravel it, if it could get a bit of use.
