    About

I originally purchased this wool to knit my baby a blanket, and that project kept me occupied while we waited for the NICU to let us go home. Two years later, my kiddo loves his blanket - but it's not the blanket I knit him! After the blanket sat in a drawer for those two years, I decided that the wool was too nice to hide away and repurposed it for a sweater. Having four skeins meant that I had to make a few adjustments to the pattern (it is not written with three quarter sleeves) but I'm really pleased with how it turned out, especially as it was my first time knitting an adult sweater.

    Pattern

    Needles & Hooks

    • Double Point 4.50mm (US 7) 15cm
    • Circular 4.50mm (US 7) 60cm
    • Circular 4.00mm (US 6) 40cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle

    Measurements

    Bust circ.: 33 in

Notes: Due to yarn limitations, I made three quarter sleeves and didn't do the tubular bind off. Overall, the fit is excellent but not a sweater you can fit a shirt under.
