Last Christmas, I gave you my HART, But the very next day you gave it away! This year, to save me from tears, I’m knitting myself some reindeers!
These deer, originally featured in the 4 December 2018 edition of Woman’s Weekly, are now available on The Knitting Network website.
I always think it’s easier to hide mistakes in a big project so these teeny-weeny deer were a real challenge but I think they turned out rather spiffingly, even if I do say so myself!
In the future, I plan to make some more in 4-ply yarn so they can be hung from the Christmas tree - imagine! I’d also make a note of how many legs I’d made as I went along - I didn’t do that with John, Paul, George and Ringo and, as a result, ended up with enough limbs for an entire herd of deer…
