It was the only way I could keep all those pesky little bits of yarn under some sort of control! I can't say I enjoyed the challenge of making this blanket, but the result was worth it - it is my grandson's favourite blanket.
@Janet M: This looks great! I'm considering making two of these - one for each of my nephews. Do you think there would be enough of the car accent colors to just buy one of each and just double up on the main color? Or will I need to truly buy 2x the materials of all colors?
@Janet M: I was thinking of making this for my grandson but was put off by the idea of all those balls of wool getting tangled. Now that i’ve seen the way you’ve used the pegs I might just pluck up the courage to give it a go. Thanks for the idea Janet.
@Stella: so sorry for the late reply, you have probably finished both blankets by now. Just in case you haven’t, one ball of each of the colours should be enough for 2 blankets. Apologies again
