      HI I'd like everyone's opinion, I want to knit a throw for my daughter. I have bought 12 balls of 100 gm wool but haven't found a pattern. The ones I have found are too small and what needles should I use? I'm thinking a long circular needle, but how long and where would be best to buy one.

        Hi, it depends on what ply the yarn is. Try knitting a test square. I think circular needles are best for blankets.
