    About

Rowan Cocoon is a lovely yarn to knit with and while it feels soft, it has great stitch definition. I decided to knit my 'Owl' pattern without the owls this time. I wanted a cowl neck but knitted one separately so that I have the option of having just a plain neck, or a cowl neck jumper. I knit the cowl with about 79 stitches on 7mm needles for about 3 inches then upped the size to 8mm for another 4 inches and then cast off using a 10mm needle to ensure the cast off was loose. The leggings were about 35 stitches in rib, about 8 inches in length.

It looks lovely, gorgeous colour, looks lovely on you too, warm and cosy, ideal for this colder autumnal weather. 💕

You've created such a beautiful sweater. It looks so warm and cosy and that colour is lovely on you! It's a treat to see this wonderful yarn knit up and really helps me to imagine the final fabric. I love your idea of a separate cowl (yay, options!) and am going to do that with my project. Thanks so much for posting and Happy Autumn!
