Knit me a River

I made this for rest and relaxation...though it didn't offer much as I decided to make a last minute Chritmas present for my daughter-in-law, so time constrained myself! Finished knitting on Christmas Eve with just the ends tp sew in. Thankfully it doesn't need blocking

    About

Having been challenged by the tiny knitting needles and small work in Bitsy Mitts, I needed something on larger pins and easy evening knitting. I still craved some challenge, and remembered this Purl Soho free pattern and lovely yarn from my stash.

This is knitting up well, the pattern is simple enough to be relaxing and difficult enough to be interesting. I think it would make a good project for someone relatively new to knitting and wanting to try cabling - more fun than a garter stitch or k1 p1 rib scarf.

Hi Jeanne. I got the pattern from the Purl Soho site here: https://www.purlsoho.com/create/2015/03/20/reversible-rivulet-scarf/
It's just one of a number of lovely free patterns on this site...and it's fully reversible too!

I'm back working on this now having finished the Dancing Feet and Site Survey Socks projects. Madly knitting to get it finished for a Christmas present...fortunately I don't think it will require blocking.

Thank you Alison. It's working up well. MillaMia yarn has such a lovely texture.
