    About

I read with interest about the call for knitted or crocheted octopuses for preemie babies. One story states that they help to calm preemie babies by thinking they are still in the womb by clutching a tentacle. Another states that if a baby has tubes attached they give them an octopus to hold onto a tentacle to stop them pulling their tubes out!!
Either way I saw this as a good cause. I knotted them in Debbie Bliss Baby Eco Cotton.
