    About

    This was one of my entries into my SWI.( Scottish women's institute) federation biannual show, in the chunky knit category. I was overjoyed to be placed first and also take the prize for the most points in knitting overall. There were categories for every weight of knitting from 4ply to chunky, from baby to adult and even French knitting. I entered them all! Like many knitters I don't often knit for myself, but I decided I really needed to get myself more organised for when I knit whilst travelling. I knit a lot for local charities but my wip at the moment is a huge mermaid tail blanket with rainbow stripes for my youngest (age37) daughter for Christmas.

    • Circular 6.00mm (US 10) 60cm

    Accessories

    • Cable Needle
    Other : I stitched on purchased handles and used a knitting inspired fabric to line and added lots of useful pockets for all my knitting paraphernalia.

    Notes: Tension and measuements matched pattern. I added an I cord bind off at the top and a lining
