      Hi Laura,
Firstly I will say that knitting this really was a labour of love! I think it’s the hardest thing I’ve ever knitted, but the end result was beautiful and very satisfying.
So, back to your question. It is an increase and it depends on where you increase as to how many stitches end up on each needle.
The main thing is to keep the count correct.
Are you using a row marker?

Sorry, just re-read. Your stitch count should be the same between each eyelet stitch.

Jackie I’m stumped at the first eyelet round. Am I supposed to maintain the same stitch count or is it an increase round? My stitch count varies between the markers if I follow the instructions as written. Thank you for any help! Laura Austin
