    Ken and his wife are visiting from Australia,so I wanted to give each of them something special from Canada. I thought I would knit Thelma this lacy scarf. I started with the Bernat silk skein I had bought at the tent sale but the one skein was not enough. I searched all over Mississauga and Oakville to find another skein but nobody had either the brand or the colour, so I had to order it online. Time was running out as the guests are coming over on Wednesday and the yarn had not arrived but Friday so i rushed over to Michaels and bought the yarn in the original yarn of the pattern and hope to finish it by the weekend.
