    Knitting this for myself,with wool I got in a present last Christmas. Not sure if I have enough of the sparkle wool, and it seems to be out of stock(only have 10balls) so have decided to add darkish purple Aran into the mix , see how it goes, as the cardigan is for myself ,I can make it a fashion statement!!!!!! Finished my cardigan ! It was some knit not sure about the fashion statement but it is lovely and warm , still have to give it a press with damp cloths . Also had problems with the front bands so had to adapt them slightly.

      Thankyou for your kind words , when picking up stitches I often pickup an extra stitch or two, making the bands not so tight, but sometimes they can be too slack, its trial and error really.

      Lovely cable work! Just wanted to say that I've made a few things and it's always the front bands that spoil the look and put me off knitting button ups. Any tips appreciated
