My dog gets cold when we shave him down in the winter. So I wanted to make him a sweater. We have 2 doodles, and I made another sweater that was really too big. I used the basic pattern of the city stripes/tweed sweater, but I added a few things: I did ribbing on the waist of the under piece, end of the top piece and around the neck. I also ribbed the chest piece so that it was still stretchy, but fit a little better.
I used Caron Simply Soft yarn, 2 held together on a size 11 needle. The ribbing I did on a size 10.
