    About

    I wanted to take some knitting with me on a recent train journey. It had to be a relatively simple pattern and light to carry and knit. I found this pattern amongst a lovely selection of free patterns on this site:

    It's knitting up well, though I have amended the pattern slightly to include 2 repeats of the centre pattern stitches and I've used my favourite Sublime cashmere merino silk 4ply...lush!

    Update: Finished bar the blocking! It's has taken a while to knit due to the hot weather and other distractions, but done now. Photos to follow once it's blocked.
