    About

It was a free pattern on the LoveKnitting app, but I decided to move the tail from the front to the back of the jumper. I love the wool and pattern and am now going to knit a similar jumper, but with a monkey on it!

thanks - great - looking forward to seeing your finished project.
I will try the front using 4.5mm and then re-do the back so that it matches.

I did the front first and then made sure the back would match. I did use 4.5 needles. You can start decreasing for the armholes before you reach the top of the lion, too. I am trying to knit a monkey jumper now, using the same pattern - I'll post a picture if it works!

Thanks - I have started on this project, for the same size, however I have used 5mm needles for the stocking stitch, I have done the back but it seems to be longer than the pattern indicates it should be (I have decreased the stitches as indicated in the pattern). Could this increase in length be attributed to using 5mm needles rather than 4.5mm? I am using lion brand wool.

This size is for a four year old, but the pattern also has a smaller and a larger size.
