      Hi Susan. I am really struggling with this pattern. Where do you start picking up stitches to do the neck edging? The pattern “says pick up and knit 6 sts evenly down side edge of front shoulder edging”. I’m completely lost! Thanks!

        It’s quite a while since I knitted this, but it would have been at the left shoulder edge where then buttons / buttonholes go - the 6 stitches there are for the overlap of the buttonhole closing on the shoulder, then the rest should be evenly around the neck and another 6 at the end for the button band.
