I made this for Lily, the little daughter of an old friend's daughter.

    About

A few months ago I sat in front of all my left over yarn and a pile of patterns and worked out what I could knit to use some of it up! As a result I bagged up six future projects!! This one is using up left over 4 ply cotton yarn from little garments I have knitted my two grand daughters over the last six years. I chose this pattern because it is so easy to make being top down with only the sleeve seams to sew up at the end. I prefer top down patterns as you can then knit the sleeves on two needles, in fact all of it on two needles. Florence Merlin has some gorgeous patterns. I knitted this while we were away in our camper in the far south of New Zealand for two months over summer.
