    About

Using up my leftover yarn from my Louisa Harding Isadora Cowl. Using smaller needles & only 12 times the repeating pattern.
Just finished, I was not good at estimating how many rows I could get out of what I had left, so finishing it was a little awkward! I could have done the 2nd Lace Round repeat, but I wasn't sure if I had enough, so I just knitted until I ran out of the Amitola Grande. I probably could have knitted another round with the Trenzar before I cast-off, or I could have done the picot cast-off and had enough to finish, but I'm bad at estimating!

I have just got the sage wool but can't get the winter rose. What other colour would you suggest with the sage?

        Naperville

I love the Winter Rose, but I think this color has been discontinued. However, if you search the Internet you will probably be able to find some. If you look on Ravelry.com you can see all the different colors people used.

Some of the new colors of Amitola Grande would work with sage. Morgan 523, Parakeet 528 & Cosmopolitan 539 all have green in them.

Beautiful pattern and colours. I am thinking of buying Amitola Grande I winer rose, but I don't think I have the skill to knit such a lovely snood. Well done on such a pretty piece of knitting.
