    About

Part wrap, part vest, part cardigan - this topper can add a fashionable layer to an outfit or sit on the back of your chair waiting to chase out a chill.

This maddy laine pattern knits up quickly in a heavy worsted weight yarn (16 sts = 4”/10cm). A simple stripe pattern accents horizontal pockets on the front. The back section sports a wide band of the contrast color for interest.

Add this layer to your list of cowls, scarves, mitts, and hats to create some stylish warmth.

Would this sweater knit up and hang nicely in a worsted weight yarn?

        Anne,

The pattern is written for a chunky/bulky weight yarn - 16 sts and 22 rows = 10cm/4" over stockinette stitch.

Perhaps a heavy worsted weight might produce that gauge but since the garment has not been sampled in that weight, we cannot guarantee results.

Thank you for your interest in our patterns,

        maddy laine
