Matching cardigans for Hannah and her much loved doll

    This pattern looked so adorable I downloaded it as soon as I saw it on the website. I tried to use a similar colour yarn to the one colour cardigan on the pattern. The yarn was a DK 75% bamboo / 25% nylon that is no longer available.
    At the time Hannah loved her new doll so much, so I wanted to knit something to match for her little doll.
    I used a free downloadable pattern from the love knitting website called Poppy Cardigan for the basis of the dolls cardigan

    It was the first time I had embroidered flower petals onto my knitting, but after viewing some you tube videos and a few trial runs I got there!

      Hannah's doll looks very much like my granddaughters' Corolle dolls, for whom I've also made dresses. Very sweet!
