Inspired to make a cowl for my friend, I decided to use a cable panel framed on each side with a seed stitch border. While I truly love them, I'm still learning how to knit cables. Will have to see how it comes out! I used two strands together to make it a bit chunkier. The plan is to make & attach a couple of I-cord loops that will go over a two buttons to secure it when he wears it. Just need to finish in time for Christmas!! #FestiveProjects
Update : So, life happened after starting this project and it was shelved for a while.... picked it up again and ended up opting for buttons with button-holes - was given as a birthday/moving away gift - pretty sure it will get plenty of wear in the Rockies though!
