Have had the book and pattern for ages and wanted to make it but didn't have anyone until baby Annabel. I used colours that could be unisex in case they want to re-use it!
Instead of bands of single rows, I doubled these in order to make it easier.
Other : I used some buttons with a nautical theme - I tend to use these on all of my garments as a bit of a 'logo'
