    About

I have loved this pattern ever since I first came across it, in fact I love all the designs for little ones by Rocket Clothing / Linda Whaley. This pattern has the most wonderful detailed instructions for knitting and especially on how to sew up the garment really neatly and professionally to complete. I learnt some excellent new tips, especially how to sew the shoulder seams neatly without being too thick and bulky, which my usual mattress stitch method tends to do. I will be using this method in future. As my tension is tighter the jumper ended up smaller in size [I think] for an 8-12 month old but I will keep it for a future baby gift. It really does make a beautiful girl's jumper in the lovely Ballet Pink shade. For the button fastening loop on the neck I made a 'sewn button loop' using the method on this link: https://ysolda.com/pages/sewn-button-loops
It worked out well, firm and neat. I would definitely make this jumper again.

Thanks. I am really surprised that this pattern has not featured in 'Projects' and on The Community Page more, it is so nice.
