    I created this to gift to a friend I had made over the internet - through blogging. She's been so kind all year and I wanted to send her a little something to say thank-you for her friendship. Pink is her favourite colour and so that's what I created them in.
    She was over the moon with her surprise parcel :-)

      I need advice before I order the yarn... you used BC Garn Alba? And you used US5 (3.75mm) needles? This page says they measured 13cm... but the pattern says: 10cm or 4".

        Hi Thelma,
        I didn't use BC Garn Alba, I used a discontinued Patons cotton blend, which was 8ply (DK). That's why mine are bigger than the ones in the pattern, I've used a larger ply :-)
