Love the ties. Don’t know why I didn’t think of this before - they look so pretty tied when I’m wearing it as a shawl or a scarf, and kind of cool when they’re left undone...

Love this shawl. I've just ordered the yarn to knit 2 of them for my holidays. I'm going to use sublime baby cashmere Marino silk 4ply. I can't wait to get started.

Wow, that’s nice!! I’ll look forward to hearing how you get on. That sounds like a good yarn to choose, but you may need to go up a needle size - see how it feels after a couple of rows. Good luck! Sx

What a lovely shawl Stella, love the ties and colour choice is gorgeous. I love your patterns, and have made several of them. Waiting for payday to get this pattern and the yarn!

@Stella Ackroyd: hi Stella, I haven’t put any of my projects up on here as I haven’t got a clue how to do it! I wish I could be enlightened. I always take pictures of what I knit, it seems a shame that nobody else sees them. I knitted 43 items last year, several of them large items, blankets, sweaters, shawls and more. Still got to finish your Linea Tunic, and have done three of your shawls. Got my eye on your Rockport sweater!

@Jenny R: I realised that you hadn't posted any photos after I'd sent my message and didn't want to offend you by deleting it again!
Sounds like you never stop knitting (says she...)!
It's very easy to post project photos; all you have to do is click on 'Me' in the top right corner of your screen, go to 'my profile', then 'projects' and click on 'create project'. It's great fun detailing the yarn and needle sizes etc and quite useful when you want to re-knit something to have online project notes to refer to.
        Good luck!

No way?? Thank you! I must admit, I’ve got 2 x 50gm Laguna (green) in my cupboard and I have thought about making another Mitford straight away with Crocus (purple), but I’ve got lots of ‘work’ knitting to do so I’m going to do the sensible thing and wait until the Spring. Or maybe the Xmas holidays 😅
Thank you for your encouragement, I appreciate it. Sx

@Stella Ackroyd: I'm having to wait till my Christmas break to do mine so plenty of time to choose my colours. I have lots of customer orders to do as well as a cot blanket for my new grandchild due mid December. I'll be knitting in my sleep!

@Stella Ackroyd: Thankyou. A new baby a few days before Christmas and it's big brother's birthday on 2nd January makes it a very expensive time. I'm going to purchase my yarn for the shawl soon whilst I still have some pennies!
