    About

Ever since I started knitting again after years away from it, I've been intrigued by the art of felting and how it works. I decided to make a bag for a friend for her Birthday. You have to be really careful to buy the correct type of wool ( It would be good if Love Knitting had a special symbol for wool for felting). The pattern was a freebie which was great! I followed the instructions but had to wash the bag twice to make it look as felted as I wanted it to, but this meant the finished bag was slightly smaller than I would have liked. I'm going to add a press stud to make the bag more secure. Overall, I'm pretty pleased with the way it turned out, I just hope my friend likes it!!

    Yarns

    Needles & Hooks

    • Double Point 7.00mm (US 10.75) 10cm
    • Single Point 7.00mm (US 10.75) 35cm

    Measurements

Notes: My bag is slightly smaller than stated on the pattern. It is 30cm wide and 22cm high. I also tapered mine rather than knitting it straight. I think the picture on the pattern makes the bag look deceptively larger than it actually states in the measurements.
