My First Top Down Cardigan

I made this for the imminent arrival of a friend’s granddaughter

    Loved this pattern then a friend asked if I would knit something for her granddaughter due in April. She bought the yarn, not my choice of colour but am very surprised at how much I am enjoying this!
    It was instant satisfaction seeing the cardy take shape suddenly when slipping the sleeve stitches onto holders (old nappy pins in this case!)

    Other : Didn’t have stitch holders with me when I needed them, so improvised with nappy pins from my mother which are probably older than I am.......

    3-6 months

    Notes: Being top down it should be easy to lengthen the body and/or sleeves if necessary, so the garment should last longer
