I bought mine from the works too. It was 4.99 great value as it was much more expensive on other sites. Look forward to seeing your dolls too!

I love knitting these dolls. They are quick to knit as are the clothes. I am really warming to them now. I must admit I struggled with sewing the shoe to the leg. It was hard to align them up as the leg edge is square and the shoe round. I was not happy with the result but hopefully will be better next time.

Thanks Alison. I was going to give her a fringe but decided it was fine as it was. I did struggle with the colour of the hair as the flesh colour was so pale but I think it was the best colour to use in the end.

Thanks Dianne. I used the pattern from little yarn dolls for he head (which is knit in dk and larger needles) hoping it would scale down to the right size using 4ply and smaller needles. It worked! I'm really pleased with it.
