    About

I found this pattern when looking for a headband that required less than 200 yards of yarn. It was very easy to knit and I like the finished project. The yarn has enough color variation that you can really see the pattern. While the pattern called for a size 8 needle, I needed to use a size 9 to get the correct gauge. I did not use the entire skein and think I might have enough for a second one

I’ll definitely be making this headband again - with the following changes. Decrease cast on by 4 stitches for a slightly tighter fit and decrease the number of rows for the ribbing on each side by 2 rows to decrease the width....I think it would be hard to decrease the pattern.
