    About

Sian brought me 2 100g balls of t-shirt yarn from her holiday in Hopton but I had no idea what to make with them. Then 💡 moment after seeing Morgans tea-pot rest made of pom-poms! Two thick, cotton tea-pot rests , each using one ball of yarn - happy days.

    Yarns

    • material-yarn
Stofgarn fabric yarn - Teal ✕ 30.0 meters

Stofgarn fabric yarn - Navy ✕ 30.0 meters

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 9.00mm (US 13) 25cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
Other : These two mats gave me a little WIP in between my dog marathon and have been used to protect my table already - great for absorbing heat and for catching drips!

    Measurements

Notes: Teal rest is 19 cms x22cms and the Navy rest is 18cms x 19cms. Both balls of yarn were approx 30 metres (100g) and I casted on 20 sets on the same size needles and knitted till the yarn ran out! There was a join in the teal ball but not in the navy one and that was the only difference I could prove although the teal yarn felt ‘looser’.
