    About

The neck warmer pattern originated from a old knitting book (Knit2Together by Tracey Ullman / Mel Clark) and has been adapted for a different yarn and gauge, plus the addition of iCord and fuchsia flowers.
The neck warmer is knitted in the round on a circular needle, the icord is knitted on double pointed needles, and the flowers on single pointed needles.

    Needles & Hooks

    • Double Point 3.50mm (US 4) 15cm
    • Single Point 3.50mm (US 4) 20cm
    • Circular 4.00mm (US 6) 60cm

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
    • Stitch Holder

    Measurements

Notes: Full round = 48cm by 20cm top to bottom
The neck warmer is worked in multiples of 'feather and fan' pattern (12 stitch multiples) I used 8 x 12 stitches = 96 stitches in the round.
This neck warmer is knitted in double knit yarn (using 4mm circular needle) so knits up fairly very quickly.
I added approximately 100cm length of icord (3 stitches using 3.5mm double pointed) and after threading the icord through the neck warmer finished off by knitting two fuchsia flowers and securing to the ends.
The fuchsia flowers were tricky to knit as I had no pattern so created these myself (3.5mm single pointed needles).
The icord is threaded through the neck warmer before the flowers are added. Then tied into a bow to finish.
The icord allows the neck warmer to be gather for a reduced height as required.
