    About

When I was knitting my other garlands my granddaughter asked if I would make a HO HO HO one for her to put up at home, so here it is.

    Pattern

Alphabet Pattern by Frankies Knitted Stuff

This pattern can be found here:

    Needles & Hooks

    • Single Point 3.25mm (US 3)

    Accessories

    • Tapestry Needle
Other : I added a double leaved holly sequin and two small gold beads to each red letter. I used a length of Anchor Metallic thread in gold thread through the letters to hang them on. That way you can adjust the letters to fit the space

    Measurements

Notes: I knitted the letters as per the patterns but did two of each letter and stitched them together to make the letters thicker and so hang better

I love your garlands they are so bright and cheerful and your edging is lovely.i read that you doubled them I think it gives them a more fuller look.

Hi again, thanks for the comments once more. I tried several alternatives before settling on doubling the letters. I'd knitted Frankies gingerbread shapes and they are doubled and work well so I tried them a it was a success!!
