    About

I have been knitting my trusted traditional matinee jacket pattern for many years now. I wanted this time however to knit something contemporary/modern for a change. Wanted something to suit a little boy. After much research i found this pattern. It is a lovely pattern, very easy and quick to do. I used the suggested wool, dropping down a needle size to get the correct tension and for neatness with the garter stitch. The sport wool is something between a 4ply and double knit. Not always readily available in the UK. However many wools i think would be suitable provided you take the time to check the tension to get the right gage for the pattern. hence the cardigan in the main picture.
The little bootees are from Keelan - Chunky Strap Baby Shoes Pattern.
