I have brought quite a few of your patterns Pat but not the children's ones yet, hopefully I will in the future, but I absolutely love your tea cosies and egg cosies, they are actually very easy to do but look fantastic and very modern when finished.😊😊

I agree with you all about pretty colours for babies, I like the white and pastels but I also like pretty, or bright colours on babies too.I think whatever the mothers want to put on their babies it's totally up to them.😊

What a lovely outfit. Great colours. You matched those buttons well. I’m with you on the bright clothes, most of my knits are very bright!

Thankyou Lyn for the compliments. You can see more of my colour combinations here https://www.facebook.com/BuzybeeKnits/ It's getting harder to find these simple modern buttons that I like as less places are selling them even on line :-(

@Pat E: That is the ongoing beef of us Aussie knitters. No longer can you buy buttons from the plastic tubes, it’s all cards of buttons, with never the correct amount of buttons you need, so you end up forking out for 2 cards of buttons and only need 1 off the second card!

@Lyn R: I get my buttons on eBay usually as you can buy them individually. I only use the matt Smartie buttons as they're simple and modern which I like for my knits. I don't have a local yarn shop any more so buying on line is all that I can do. I agree with it being a pain having to buy 1 card for just 1 extra button!

Lyn I wasn't sure whether to coment here but my 90year old mother said she had to pay $ 10 for a few buttons for a cardigan for Aahana. Spotlight has killed the little shops. I am lucky i can still buy buttons from the local shop in the tube. I just guessed the buttons from there before I came away because some of the projecsts I intend to do only need 1 button.

@Jennifer M: Sadly it's a sign of the times :-( The nearest haberdashers to me doesn't stock the buttons I use sadly. It doesn't stock many nice buttons at all :-(

Thankyou Denise. It's a bit of a contentious issue sometimes as some people think babies, especially prem ones should only wear white or light pastels. I love babies in colour as do a lot of mummies these days. My daughter is 40 now and rarely wore white or pastels as she had very fair skin and blonde hair. She looked gorgeous in deeper and dusky shades especially blue!
