    About

Think the Nordlys might be too much on its own teams well with alt rows of WYS Cardamom. No pattern as such, just a basic sock recipe of 64 sts with k3p1 rib for body of soch. Eye of Partridge heel - I just love the texture.
Would like to find something similar made in UK. Nordlys yarn did tend to split a bit. Not as tight a twist as WYS.

Hope this makes sense. The asterisks mean repeat till last 3 sts.
        PARTRIDGE HEEL STITCH.
        Row 1: slip 1, k2, *k1, sl 1* to last 3 sts, k3
        Row 2: slip 1, k2, p to last 3 sts, knit 3
        Row 3: slip 1, k2, *sl 1, K1* to last 3 sts, k3
        Row 4: as row 2

@Jane M: hi Jane, should have said that heel flap is on 32 sts usually, for 32 rows (8 repeats of 4 row pattern). Then do the heel turn.

This is very nice! Do you do it as a brioche? 1 Row with the coloured and the other with the plain? Back and forth?
      Thanks Noemi

Hi Naomi. No it’s just alternate rows of the two different yarns in a k3 p1 rib.
