    About

I saw this wrap and fell in love with it. I'm not going to add buttons all the way around as I will just fasten it as in the picture. I'm fitting in a few rows amongst my customer knitting orders so may take a while. I'm now just past 1/3 of the wrap completed. Only 2/3 to go!

    Pattern

    Norfolk Wrap

    This pattern is from:
    The Knitter Issue 102

    Needles & Hooks

    • Circular 4.50mm (US 7) 80cm

    Accessories

    • Cable Needle
    • Stitch Markers
    • Tapestry Needle

    Measurements

Notes: This wrap is just one size. I omitted the buttonhole in row 3 and just did the one in row 6. I don't know why there were 2 buttonholes so close together as the rest are every 10 rows. You wouldn't physically be able to put the buttons that close either on rows 3 and 6. There's no mention of placement of a marker for the garter st borders in the instructions or that on 2 rows the cable is worked over 4 sts not the 3 sts that 90% of the pattern is worked over. I couldn't find the 4 st cable instructions in the abbreviations. I have emailed the The Knitter magazine and had a quick response from them. They'll update the pattern on their website but errata in the magazine will take a while.
