      That’s really impressive for a first attempt at fair isle. It looks amazing. I was surprised to see it was worked along the width. How many stitches were you working with?

        you cast on 433 sts using 4mm circular needle for rib then a 3.75mm for the body. I loved knitting this. The Willow and Lark wool was lovely to work with.

      What are the colours other than the blue and gold and do you need 2 balls also of the brown/grey?

        Hi there, I used the brown, blue, red and yellow willow and lark wool that's in the pattern. There is an alternative colour scheme given but the wool was amazingly soft and nice to work with.

        @Alison P: the pattern is 2 balls of Stained Glass Blue (MC), 2 of Straw (A), 1 of Oxblood (B) and 5 of Antique Brown (C). The alternative colours are Army Green (MC), Truffle (A), Sea Green (B) and Raspberry (C).
