I'm making this jumper for a friend, she had seen a jumper on the telly that she really liked but couldn't find it anywhere. Italian cast on 41 sts for sleeves, increase 6cm then 4cm 6 times in total = 53 sts.
Cast on 95 sts for back, knit 30cm before increasing. Increase 8 times for underarm, 42 rows for armholes. Shoulder cast off 4 stitches beginning of every row 20 times using bias bind off, 31 stitches remaining. Front knit 28 rows before dividing for neck after finishing underarm increases. Knit 50 stitches, leave remaining 61 stitches on holder. Decrease neck edge alt row 10 times 40 stitches remaining. Work 4 rows before shoulder cast off. Pick up 21 stitches each side from neck edges and stitches left on holders for back and front. Reverse shaker stitch pattern for cowl neck.
