      Are these roomy enough for a newborn? There are so many patterns available and most don't show them modelled, I'm finding it hard to make a choice.

        I made the 3-6 mths size and Grandson wore them during that approx age. It was only that he has such a long body and legs that he outgrew them. But he got lots of wear out of them over that winter

        Sorry Allyson, but I don't quite know. I was using old (read vintage) yarn that was on a cone and was donated to me. No yardage was noted on the cone
