A long cardi in double seed stitch. My daughter's favourite stitch, at least the patterns she chooses for me to knit for my grandson mostly include this stitch, so I am hoping she will be pleased with this at Christmas. I'm loving the stitch definition.
So own it is complete. Blocking done, buttons sewn. I had bought the buttons a coueven of months ago, while on holiday and going by pattern requirements only to find that in the pattern it stated 5 or 6, not the 5 in the materials list. Luckily I have a stash of buttons and was able to add a complimenting one. I think know it adds a quirkiness essential to the cardi and hope Laura will too. If I was knitting it again I would go up a size. A little niggle, but I do wish designers would state whethermeasurements are body or garment. I really loved the deign and how so very easy it was to make up,,
