    About

The moment I saw this pattern I fell in love with it. Although I bought yarn for it, it is ideal for using up leftovers. Normally I never use a pattern again but this time I am desperate for another baby girl to come along so I can knit it in different colours - there is so much scope for your individual touch in colours, pattern blocks and finishing touches with ribbons, bows and buttons. Everybody who saw this dress fell in love with it. NB the 2mm needles are only used for the flowers

This is lovely Ruth, It is very different but on the other hand it is, great for yarn busting like you said. Why don't you use a pattern more than once in different colours Ruth?and maybe the squares in different patterns or the top middle. It will look like another dress.❤

Hi Michelle - funnily enough I am just finishing off another one of these in more pastel colours and will photograph when completed. I recently dug out a folder of patterns over 20 years old and have picked a few I will use again. Most of my knitting was for friends children and now it is for their grandchildren lol. I think a new pattern is exciting and think there's nothing like casting on s new project😁

@Ruth S: I do know what you mean because I think like that too, but after a while a( few years) you go back to them & you forget about them and do it again differently, just like you are now.❤
