I can still remember the day my mum rang me in tears and said "Michelle I can't do my knitting anymore my hands are too bad with arthritis" she was 85. I felt so sorry for her as she was an amazing knitter,I have also inherited her beautiful patterns.but I know she missed knitting.
I can't wait to see this wee June baby in the beautiful wee things you have knitted.😊😊

A beautiful cardigan. Love the pattern, it's a shame they don't make reprints.

We are awaiting her arrival, not long now, I can’t wait to meet her, there are so many other projects that I won’t have time to make before she’s here but she has a few things to keep her going 🙂

I’ve inherited all of mums patterns as she has macular degeneration and can no longer knit I love the old patterns and my eldest has already asked if they can be passed to her

@Jayne V: That is a shame, I would be lost without my knitting. I have a few old patterns but not very many.

I can’t even contemplate not being able to knit, mum has found it hard, my pattern collection has now doubled with lots of vintage patterns as mum always had something on her pins
