    About

This yarn was discontinued in 2013. I got it on sale in 2017, soon after I started knitting. It is so smooth and silky.
This pattern is for advanced knitters who do not need directions. I found no errors. But as a knitter with less tha two years experience, I found the cryptic directions confusing. The knitting itself of the pebble-stitch pattern is easy.
My strategy became: knit according to my interpretation of he directions until I could see it was clearly wrong, then frog (usually four inches) and reknit until it looked right. i had the most trouble with “Front: work as given for back until work measures 6” less than back to start of shoulder shaping.”. I am sure it is clear to most knitters, but I found three ways of misinterpreting it.The pattern seemed a little small as I knit it, but when I pinned it together to try on front and back, the negative ease worked well with the stretchy effect of the pebble stitch.
After wet blocking the sleeves, I used mattress stitch.
