    I enjoy a challenge, and I find it very satisfying when I have to master a new skill for a project. This is my first attempt at fair isle, and I’ve learned how to do the circular cast on, wrap the float and even knit with two hands/Scandinavian knitting (ie a different colour in each hand). I found a very helpful tutorial on KnitPicks to work out how to do this, which is not difficult once you get the hang of it, but looks impressive!

      This project is on my dream project knitting bucket list - I have been intimidated by how advanced it is - your tip about the KnitPicks tutorial vids has encouraged me to look into developing the needed skills to try it out - thank you!

        @Tamara C: It's a large project, so I can only imagine it will take time, and of course life happens, along with all the other projects that require our time & attention along the way. Do what you can, when you can, and just enjoy it. We will all be here to cheer and admire the pictures when they come!
