I realised I didn't have a hat after a particularly cold day out and about with my camera. I've never knitted a hat before so needed something simple yet beautiful and different from the normal hats you see. Found this lovely pattern and decided to try it. I did just do normal purl instead of ptbl for the rib though. I don't know how to use dpns so when it got too difficult on my circular needles I try the magic loop method which worked quite well. Even though there's one or two mistakes I'm happy with it and it's warm too.
